Flying schedules for the students are prepared in advance. So in case of non-availability, student must inform at least 2 hours prior to flying time.
Privileges of Private Pilot License
The holder of a PPL may work as a pilot or co-pilot for non-commercial flights for the aircrafts his license is endorsed.
The license holder must hold Night Rating and Passenger Rating for the privileges of flying at Night and carrying passengers respectively.
Requirements
- PCAA issued Valid Student Pilot License (SPL)
- Minimum age of 17 years
- Valid Class II Medical by CAMB
Ground Studies For Theoretical Knowledge
Student Pilots must give 7 PCAA exams to earn the PPL. Student must have the ground training in the following subjects for the exams:
- Mass & Balance
- Air Law
- Aircraft General Knowledge (AGK)
- Operational Procedures (AIP, NOTAMS, Aeronautical Codes and Abbreviations)
- Meteorology
- Flight Performance & Planning
- Navigation
- Principles of Flight
- Human Performance and Limitations
- Radiotelephony

According to PCAA, the privileges of a flight instructor (FI) will be as follows:
PPL comprise of 40 hours of Flight Training. The duration of the course is 8months, starting from the day of SPL issuance.
Pre-Requisite:
A Student Pilot must have 10hours of flying in 3 months earlier than the issuance of PPL.
